I have been working professionally with animals for 14 years. I started out working at my local humane society in southern Indiana. Then I worked as a pet food specialist, a dog trainer, and then as a groomer. From there I started working at a wildlife rehabilitation clinic where I cared for injured and orphaned wildlife. After that, I worked at a large cat rescue, caring for tigers and lions. I started Scales & Tails in 2021 when I moved to Tacoma, WA. Since then, I have provided quality care to hundreds of local pets!
